What Was Happening?
Agronomists inspecting primary spike density, checking capsule setting ratios, and calibrating the automated drip fertigation delivery for Block B.
Why Was This Important?
The primary spike accounts for approximately 40-45% of total castor plant yield. Ensuring optimal capsule set without abortion during this 14-day window is the single most critical determinant of the final harvest volume.
Full Field Chronicle
On 14th November 2025, our agronomy team conducted a comprehensive field audit across Block B of the Sabarkantha Commercial Castor Project. The high-vigor GCH-7 plants entered their primary reproductive phase with heavy spike elongation. Each primary spike was measured between 42 to 58 cm with an average of 52 healthy capsules forming per spike.
Automated micro-fertigation through our multi-channel venturi system delivered a specialized phosphorus-potassium-boron solution to support capsule setting while suppressing vegetative overgrowth.
Agronomy & Field Team Notes:
Zero jassid or whitefly pressure detected. Leaf canopy clean and vibrant. Soil moisture levels maintained steadily at 65% field capacity via solar pump automation.
